View the scheduleWhere did your journey with yoga begin?
I was a 21-year-old working long hours in a corporate job and found yoga at my local gym. It became a regular in my life from that point onwards — a way to manage the stress and demands of life.
Do you remember your first class at Ritual?
I'd just moved to Palm Beach from Victoria and Ritual had just opened. I felt comfortable at Ritual from the start.
How do you feel after class?
Always better for doing a yoga class — mind, body and breath.
Life moves quickly. How do you make room for class?
I run my own naturopathic clinic and have children, so there's always a lot on — which makes yoga even more necessary. I see it as a non-negotiable part of my weekly routine.
How has your practice changed you?
It keeps my mind clear and takes me to a deeper understanding of life. A lot of yoga philosophy creeps into the courses and retreats I run too.
What does "ritual" mean to you?
Regularity, preparation, consistency, presence.
What do you turn to outside the studio to stay well?
I shop at farmers markets for fresh organic food, meditate, follow what inspires me, and choose to create consciously in my life.
For anyone hesitant about walking in?
It's a very open and welcoming space where anyone is accepted.
A piece of advice that stays with you?
Staying well — mentally and physically — takes constant effort, and there's no magic pill. I think the aim of the game is to follow what lights you up.

Hidden in the mist-covered Cardamom Hills of Kerala, this six-month immersion is an invitation into a slower, deeper and more sincere relationship with yoga. Led by Rose Baudin and Rose Lamont, it weaves philosophy, practice, mentorship and study within a living lineage — drawing on Rose Baudin's 50+ years of practice and her initiation into the parampara of the Tamil Siddhas. In 2027 Rose turns 80, and this has been designed as a rare, intimate opportunity to study with her directly while her stories, insight and wisdom can still be shared this way.
Over six months, online study and practice build steadily toward a private 6-day retreat in the mountains of Kerala. With just nine bungalows available on the retreat, space is intentionally limited. Days hold yoga, pranayama, meditation, philosophy, silence, shared meals, nature walks and temple visits.
Places are intentionally limited. Register your interest now and we'll be in touch the moment bookings open on Monday 1 June.
